xmas eve was a half day for work !

so.. we continued with our xmas eve lunch outing. HAHA! im excited excited excited ! like there's 13 of them out with us ! hahaha . im happy happy happy ! for the first time, im going out with a group of adults. perhaps when we grow up to become adults, we don't really go out in groups like this. and the little kid like me, would just get some outing in a group-kind-of-pattern. with experience from first outing, i know wad are the considerations of the adults ! YAY!

so anyway, we had our lunch at Botak Jones. talked, crapped, rubbished. HAHA!
but to think about it, thanks for those who showed and gave us face to turn up for tis "outing" HAHAHAHAHA! seriously! i mean, why would working adults wanna go out with interns when they probably could have something more important to do? (for the case of typical mindset)

woooooo. it was fishing day on the sunday. met the ppl at harbourfront, and vroooom~ with hanleng's & vic's car to Labrador Nature Reserve :D

settled there . and couldn't fish a single fish ! . haha instead we learn how to cast our lines while waiting for the fishes to "appear"! so after much waiting(s), we decided to change location to Marina South!

and i tell u! it's so much better there. i dont know but the environment seems better to fish ! hahaha . like on the rock and under the sun . woooooo ! shiok !

i am all so prepared with new set of office wear, new pair of heels, new bag to go with for work and i totally left out the documents that i need to prepare for my first day of attachment .

went to sch super early, trying to get a passport sized photograph. and u know what! the machine was working perfectly on friday night, and it died on me . lol . there goes my passport sized photo! hahaha . den the aunty was caught late and knocking the photocopy room's door. so after she went in, i knocked and asked if they could make a photocopy of document for me. and they agreed! afterall, i'm still considered lucky! hahahaha (:

day 1 of work was alright. we are mostly familiar with nyp interns. company staffs were friendly! (: and we even had welcome package with stationeries and blablabla in it! hahahaha.

thanks guys for coming for the dinner! u knw, jewelry just got this "i-dont-want-to-go-home-yet" syndrome esp when it's first day of work! hahahaha. i mean, u know.. haha. afterall, there must be somethings that we wanna share with the rest right! LOL =P

hahaha. i was telling clara & eeling, i wish when i alight and when ppl see me. instead of the usual saying such as "welcome back!", "how's beijing?" i hope the first thing they would say is, "You've slimmed down!" LOL! just kidding la! presentation is tmr. kinda rush here and there! good luck to all of us! time passes real fast, like bullet train. perhaps faster than that.

my mum said, im like a different person after my beijing trip. thank you mum! hahahahahaa. was unpacking my luggage and i realise i left out a couple of gifts for some people. sorry!

let's see! i miss the weather there (thou kinda cold at times), i miss how cheap are the stuffs there, i miss those bargaining session with the shop keepers, i miss how close the lab and our room are located, i miss the cheap cheap cab rides, i miss my china friends!

hahaha. & the only thing i missed more of is, the toiletsssss in Singapore. be it my home toilet, or the kopitiam toilet. it's still so much better ! and phew! my heater (hostel) worked well for my last bathe in china. hehe!

the time passes damn fast over in china lo ! most of us, stop keeping track of time. like u get up at 7am in the morn. u stay in the lab frm 8am til 4pm. den u go back to ur room. play some sports, kill some time, visit the warehouse to buy bananas, etc etc. time would be ard 5+ pm til 8+ pm. den u go for dinner den when u're done it's ard 9pm? then u go chit chatting wif ur neighbour. den u shower, and time for bed! there goes one day!

GREAT WALL
weeee. the climb was a great one, esp when you reach the peak. there's tooooo many ppl climbing alr.. despite the length of the great wall, you still get stuck! and yes! we all did it, we all got to the peak of the great wall for this particular province. eeling was afraid of height, but still she made it to e top! (: it's amazing how the china ppl think in the past, such a long walk across so many province. built manually. it's like, u know in the olden days. there's no machine to transport the cement, the bricks, and stuffs like that.. lol. due to the no. of population, we got split up many times.. lol.

great wall, is a very nice experience (:

MS HUANG'S RETURN
had a farewell dinner on the friday night. managed to surprise ms huang. haha! she's the cutest lecturer i've ever seen so far (: i rem how disappointed she sound when james told her we wont be able to make it for the dinner.. haha. sigh! i miss her fruits! cos she cuts fruits for us everyday. hahahahah... after we're back frm the dinner. we stayed up for ghost stories (cos it's 31st Oct). and we ended sharing bedrooms, i went over to clara&vic's room. LOL! went back to our rooms @ ard 3+ am. then got up at ard 5.25am. & off we go to send ms huang (:

and tadahh! surprised! for the 2nd time.. (i guess?) haha.

first time ever! haha. it's my first halloween party. went shopping in the day for our stuffs and for the halloween stuffs. hav no idea wad to dress up as, so eeling and i told clara, we're gonna "copy" you. and got ourselves a pair of geek specs each. haha ! the party was good! it would be better if there's more of those BiTC students whom we know. only a few turned up =/ haha. crazy photo taking session through the night. wahahahahaha!

yesterday was the day we performed.

yep, and my role is a car. and i hav only one scene to walk from one side of the stage to another side. LOL! im very proud of it ok! LOL.

overall it's quite a nice experience working with the china students. but still, i've no idea why i just couldnt drop the idea that no matter how high ranking they are, say the CEO of the College. I still can't forget that all of them grew up with a hole in their pants that reveals their private parts -_-" stupid me. lol~

so here's week 2 update!

let's see.
weather has been turning colder and colder. when the highest temp is 12degreeCelsius only! haha. me and eeling wore like 3 pieces of clothes(excluding our bra) and with an additional jacket. and we all got so pumped up with clothes!

fell ill on wed night. didn't really turn up for lab on thursday and slept through the whole day. just becos i wanna go sightseeing on fri&sat! hahaha. so i sleep and sleep and sleep. (like sleeping beauty LOL!!! JK!) frm wed night ard 1+am til 10+am then 3+pm til 4pm, 4pm til 6pm, 7.30pm til the next day. LOL! my best slping record so far. thanks guys! u know who u are (:

was expecting to become a china princess 垠铢格格 on friday. who knows their "bandwidth" exceeded, and the place is closed for us. so we went to their clarke quay area - Hu Tong. and gy & i bought 开心小猪 back. hahaha! that toy made me laugh lah! hahaa..

(: it was a great and tiring day.

we got back to the hostel off the curfew hours, so we got punished. working time starts at 6.30am tmr.

yep, we report to sch at 8am in the morn. and we knock off at 4pm daily. after sch, the guys went bball-ing. while some of us choose to stay home and get our clothes washed or just watch the guys play. so far.. :x we haven't been doing any running. Sorry Jade!

so yep. our weekdays are on sunday to thu. and our weekends are on fri and sat.

the only story i remembered most is the top eunuch story. whereby he is ordered to send officials for olympics! haha. the story about xiao li zi sprinting that his plaits is as flat as his head. LOL pardon me for my bad english. it's interesting how the tour guide articulate and present the stories to us that we all could just put it into images instantly..

after lunch, we went back to 798 again. LOL! yep. again. and we went to With Space after walking for a very very long time.. The cafe is pretty! haha. with those little flowers by the sides, cup of warm coffee, a piece of cake.. LOL!!! really is 一级棒(shiok) de feeling! LOL.

am so gonna visit 798 again. HAHA!

haha. there goes the first week of fypj.

you've got no idea why do you feel so tired when you only sit in the lab from 8.30am till 6pm. but you always end up feeling totally drained. when firstly, you didnt do much of physical work. secondly, even thou it is stated that the lunch hours is 1 hr. from 11.30 til 12.30 or 12.30 til 1.30, we always have a self-declared ones.

fypj is fun. in my lab i guess. those who are in HDB Block 340 was kinda bad ? haha. no idea.. my private estate, 309. seems good. it's very homely. hahaha. we play our music like how you play your music out loud at home using ur speakers :X

tuesday's napfa training was okay. but i think i need get a pair of track shoes! cant run. friday, nana, tobias, pris, weini, jolyn, daniel dropped by! had dinner til very late. rushed for the last bus. thanks to those people that i've knocked onto. hahahas. if i didnt knocked onto them, i guess. my bus alr left . LOL
